Welcome!

Welcome
At Christian Day Child Academy (CDCA), our mission is to glorify God by nurturing the spiritual growth and academic development of children with Biblical truth in a Christ-centered environment. Christian Day Child Academy was founded by JaNette & Lloyd Flogstad in 1971. In 1999 CDCA became a ministry of Minnesota Valley Free Lutheran Church and continues to uphold the school's founding principles. The goal of the school is to enrich children's early learning experiences with Biblical truth which provides a strong foundation for all future education.
Our staff at CDCA are all skilled teachers with a strong love for and background in working with children. Our teachers include Cheryl Ladendorf, DeVon Sadowski, Tanya Grawe, Kathy Osthus, Jennifer Koles and Rebekah Olson. We maintain a teacher to student ratio of 1 to 5. We have three options for classes: First Year Readiness for 3-year-olds, Pre-K 4-year-olds, and Pre-K 5-year-olds. All classes include monthly "Majestic Music", "Science Sparks", and "Math Matters" curriculum. CDCA's Director is Debbie Karban who feels privileged to have been a part of CDCA for over 40 years - To God be the glory!

5 Therefore, having been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, 2 through whom also we have access by faith into this grace in which we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God. 3 And not only that, but we also glory in tribulations, knowing that tribulation produces perseverance; 4 and perseverance, character; and character, hope. 5 Now hope does not disappoint, because the love of God has been poured out in our hearts by the Holy Spirit who was given to us.
